How do I load a .wav file from an external USB storage device to my Zoom R16 without using a computer or removing the SD card?

The Zoom R16 USB host Loading is a powerful feature because it allows you to import audio from any device that can act as a USB storage device without ever having to remove the flash memory or use a computer.

The Zoom H2, H4, and H4n are all compatible, allowing you to transfer recordings directly to the Zoom R16 to be used in your multitrack projects. No more plugging into a PC, dragging and dropping files. This is true PC independence.

If your device does not act as a USB storage device, you need to use an external card reader. You then plug that into the Zoom R16, and plug the card from your device into the reader. This is an extra step, but you still don't need to touch the PC.
